Program Description

Tri-County Career Center presents a comprehensive 180-hour program designed to ignite your passion and transform it into a fulfilling career. Our program offers more than just coursework; it is a critical stepping stone toward a future brimming with opportunities.

We provide you with the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to embark on your journey toward an entry-level position as a Phlebotomy Technician. With expert instructors, state-of-the-art facilities, and a hands-on approach to learning, you won’t just be acquiring knowledge; you'll be preparing for real-world success. This course will also prepare students for the Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Clinical Experience: As part of the total 180-hour course, students will complete 60 hours of unpaid clinical training at various sites with prominent healthcare providers across a multi-county region, including West Virginia. Participants must arrange their transportation to attend clinical sessions. Students should be prepared to be available for clinical training from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, although individual start dates and times may vary.
