Resources
Students with Disabilities
The NCCSD is the only federally funded national center in the U.S. that was established to provide technical assistance to students with any type of disability of any age in any type of program. We do research and provide information and resources to anyone in the U.S. who has a question about disability and higher education or attending postsecondary education, which includes Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. We also work with families, K-12 educators, state transition coordinators, Vocational Rehabilitation counselors, and staff and faculty in higher education.

Veteran Animal Service Companion
Many service men and women return home, finding that their structure and purpose have been lost. Through the rescue dog placement program, VCAS returns this structure and purpose with the unconditional love of a dog.
After a veteran receives a dog or attends a training class, they are still a part of the VCAS family. The community events we host give veterans a chance to build lasting friendships and create an atmosphere to connect with other veterans and have fun. We use these opportunities to celebrate their contributions and as a check-in to see how they are doing and how we can help.
VETMotorsports
At VETMotorsports, we harness the power of motorsports to engage, inspire, and empower our nation’s veterans. We’re not a racing team—we’re a mission-driven nonprofit that embeds veterans within professional motorsports teams, offering hands-on, non-clinical outreach that fosters connection, purpose, and renewed motivation. Since 2013, VETMotorsports has built meaningful partnerships across the motorsports and veteran communities. Through these relationships, we’ve created opportunities for veterans to rediscover their strengths, passions, and sense of belonging in a uniquely immersive environment.
