The Tri-County Career Center - Adult Center is proud to be an authorized testing center for both Pearson VUE and Certiport. We are an official testing site for the Computer Based GED Test. We are also an assessment center for the ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). Take a set of three assessments and qualify for this valuable credential that is portable across states.
This certificate will prove your skill levels to any employer in the areas of Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Graphic Literacy(Charts/Graphs). Certificates are issued at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum levels. Our testing center is located at our Nelsonville site providing a convenient location and plenty of parking for both students and professionals seeking certification.
Certiport:
The Adult Center is a Certiport Authorized Testing Center. Certiport is the world leader in performance-based certification exams and practice test solutions for academic institutions, workforce and corporate technology markets. Certiport exams available through the Adult Center include:
- Microsoft® Office Specialist Certifications
- Intuit® QuickBooks Certified User certification program
- Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³GS³)
Registration for these exams is done through the user-friendly Certiport website. During the on-line registration process, you will be able to select Tri-County Career Center - Adult Center in Nelsonville, Ohio, as the location where you want to take your exam.

GED Testing:
The GED® exam is now computer-based and includes 4 modules:
- Science (90 minutes)
- Social Studies (75 minutes)
- Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA) (150 minutes)
- Mathematical Reasoning (115 minutes)
Pricing & Payment Information:
Each module costs $30; the entire battery of 4 modules costs $120. Payment is made through your MyGED™ account at the time of scheduling and must be made by credit card only (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express are accepted including debit and prepaid cards bearing the VISA or MC logo). There are vouchers available to help offset the cost of the exam.
Scheduling:
We offer GED® testing on most Tuesdays between 10:00a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All scheduling is completed through the MyGED™ account or by calling 1-877-EXAM GED (1-877-392-6433).
